Pete Murray gone, but not forgotten

Last weekend our long time club member lost his long term battle with illness and past away. Pete was a very witty and funny guy, and a patient teacher of rules. He was a great tactician, and played a fair game. He personally introduced me to Dux Bellorum and Saga, playing with his exquisite Dark Age collection . He was a prolific painter in 28mm and 15mm, and seemed to effortlessly produce beautifully painted figures. His quick production of DBA armies led to the club being able to play a variety of games, which established the rules as a club favourite.

Our hearts go out to his family and friends, and we'll miss him.
