Ian put on a Battle Group game where the Soviets were counter attacking the attacking Germans to break out of the impending encirclement.
Dickey and Pete were the Soviets and Ian and Gaz the Germans.
Poor dice saw a slow trickel of Soviets on to the board but what did arrive proved deadly to the Germans. German air and artillery dominance swung the balance in their favour. By the end of the game no break through had been achieved by the Soviets and their battle rating had been reduced the most giving a clear German victory.
